Hello! This will depend on the phone. Alexa is now built in the Voyager 5220 and it is designed to work when you tap the Mute button, then you can ask a question. You hear a tone when Alexa is activated. Please note it is necessary to install the Plantronics Hub app on your phone in order to enable this feature. Being able to give commands without pressing a button would be a feature from the phone itself.
