“Is the socket magnetic? I have a magnet car vent holder.”

The PopSocket is not magnetic. It’s made out of plastic so it won’t stick. However, if you add a magnet (like the Steelie) it still works even though the socket sits higher than the magnet on the phone cover. I use it all the time on my dashboard in my car.

Generally speaking, i own three and found that none of them are metallic so the likelihood of them to be used with a magnet car vent seems pretty slim.

It is not magnetic, it uses a adhesive back.
