“Did any one connect this speaker to a Laptop using a aux cable and made a call (IP phone / slack / chat) which used this speaker's mic ? When I do this I can hear the other person's voice, but looks like the speaker is not picking up my voice. Thanks.”

I think you have to connect via Bluetooth to use as microphone for phone calls.

This is only a speaker. There is no microphone in this device. You would need to use the microphone on the laptop or your phone. Hope this helps.

Not just the aux cable. The same happened when I connect my phone.
