There is no usb port as you cannot charge your joycons when they are on this holder / grip. You will have to plug them in to a separate charger or put them back on the switch.

you need to buy the more expensive version for that, this is just plastic. It is called the Nintendo - Joy-Con Charging Grip.

There is no USB port on this. It's a "holder" for the Joy-cons.

There is no USB port on the controller. The Joy Con controllers slide into each side similar to putting them on the gaming console.

I don’t believe that this device has a USB port as it is made for the joy con controllers to slide in. This is made to make holding the joy con controllers feel like a regular controller. Essentially using this is like having a wireless controller since you’re using the joy cons with this device.
