1. Try resetting printer by turning it off then unplugging it from wall for several minutes before plugging it back in and switching it back on. Resetting sorts out a multitude of problems were electronic chips are involved. 2. Make sure your device is not plugged into a basic extension cord whereby the extension cord then travels to an electric outlet. Home Extension cords are made to extend electricity not data. Replace with proper electric, electronic data and AV cord with a surge suppressor and that it meets standards for data and Audio Visual transmission in your country. 3. Cover Doors: a) Make sure there is not some tiny piece of paper or object interfering with your cover from “setting” correctly. b) Does your device have more than one compartment with a cover? Could there be a 2nd cover for your ink supplies which might be ajar? If so open and re close it. Could there be cover behind or under the unit for access in case of a paper jam? If so open and close it. 2. Rarely but sometimes a wacky error code can be triggered but the error code to report it is incorrect. Check for any other ink or paper feed jams just in case.
