Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.When you purchase a retail version of Quicken the activation code can't be used any more 2 years after it is generated. Quicken is not very forthcoming about how they determine when a code is generated. It's not helpful that the product number hasn't changed since it was released in 2019 so there is no way to know when the code was generated (am I getting a new product with a code generated inn 2021 or one that's been sitting around for a while with the code generated in 2019 or 2020). Only Best Buy can answer the question about how long the activation code is valid on the product they are selling. I will tell you that I purchased my original subscription in January of 2020 (a special 14 month subscription that expired in June 2021. I also purchase 2 of this produce before the 2021 expiration date and installed 1 in May of 2021 and the other yesterday so I now have an expiration date of 2023. I was thinking about making another purchase but since but I think I will wait until next January and not take a chance on the activation date expiring.
