“For the xbox one S do you need to use the splitter in order to use the mic and hear through the headset or is that only on pc? Cause i was wondering if I could ignore the splitter cable since I’m on my xbox and it will work fine.”

• I plugged mine in bottom of controller and it workes fine

• Im on Xbox One X and I dont need the splitter. I just plug right into my headset and I can hear all the audio through my headset. I keep my TV at 0 volume so I can game quietly

• If the port is intended for combined audio and mic jack then the splitter won't be necessary.
