Will this work on a Playstation 3? null

It looks like the PS3 can support USB headsets (the dongle is USB). I would imagine that unless it has some weird proprietary stuff, since it already works on PS4 and PS5, it should be a pretty standard protocol and it would probably work on the PS3. There's always the 15-day return policy if it doesn't.
