• I'm returning it; Geek Squad fixed my problem, and they said I didn't need a new remote.

• The remote will work with most major brands including Dynex. If for some reason one of the listed Dynex codes do not work, we have an Auto Code Search function that searches all the TV codes that are stored on the remote.
