I'm not sure what you're asking. If you're looking for the water filter that's compatible with the RSG257 counter depth side by side refrigerator, the DA29-0003B (Best Buy part #7015981) is correct. There is no current Samsung RSG297 model refrigerator or water filter. Perhaps you're wondering about the RFG297 French Door refrigerator? If so, there is the RFG297AA which uses the same replacement filter cartridge as the RSG257. There is also a newer model RFG297HD which uses a different filter, the DA29-00020B replacement cartridge.
