“Which filter for my RS255BASB? I have the Samsung RS255BASB and my manual says my replacement filter is #DA29-00003A but I am having a hard time finding it. From what I have been reading here it sounds like the 3A was replaced by the 3B and now the 3G. Is this correct?”

This filter does NOT work with the Samsung RS255BASB Model refrigerator. I ended up picking this filter up tonight and when I attempted to install it I found that the opening was different from the previous one (see pictures) and the locking mechanism didn’t match up with the refrigerator. Now I’ve got to go and take this one back and then find the right one (again). :-(

It seems to work exactly the same. I have also bought the other brand that BestBuy offers like the insignia. They all fit.

Yes, the DA29-00003B or DA29-00003G are more recent versions of the DA29-00003A cartridge. Thanks for the question, Ms. Samsung
