Try unplugging the mic and plug it back in.

Hi Sleepybunny, We apologize you are having issues with your gaming setup. The issue you mention is not something we've heard of relative to RIG headsets. But a search of the Xbox community blogs reveals that this seems to be a pretty common problem - especially when using a wired controller with a headset and Xbox.
