Try unplugging the mic and plug it back in.

The issue you mention is not something we've heard of relative to RIG headsets. But a search of the Xbox community blogs reveals that this seems to be a pretty common problem - especially when using a wired controller with a headset and Xbox. This is the most useful article we found - hopefully it will help you correct your issue: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/xbox/forum/all/infuriating-buzzing-sound-party-chat/ace656de-0e81-46ed-bc5c-e8497684e059 The other thing we recommend, if you are using a wireless controller, is to make sure your home's WIFI router is not near your gaming equipment. Your WIFI and possible wireless gaming accessories may both be operating on 2.4GHz wireless frequency and this can cause audio interference. If you need additional assistance, RIG Customer Support is available via email at [email protected] or via phone at 1-833-622-6687. Thank you for choosing RIG Gaming products...
