Hi Jeannie. Good question. The Ring A19 Smart LED Bulb requires a Ring Bridge to be controlled. The Amazon Echo (4th Gen) or Echo Show 10 (3rd Gen) have a built-in Ring Smart Lighting Bridge that allows you to control and coordinate your Ring Smart Lighting. From the Ring app, you can easily turn your lights on or off, change the brightness, and set schedules. You can connect it with other Ring smart lights and select Ring devices to customize how your bulbs turn on when motion is detected, but it will not notify you of phone calls. We invite you to reach out to our Community if any additional information is needed regarding your question. The Ring Community is our first peer-to-peer community forum, giving our customers the ability to help one another by sharing their feedback and experiences with each other. All the best, Nicole from Ring.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As far as I know, it can't be programmed to flash or change colors. And it synced to my Alexa devices as soon as I set it up in the Ring app
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It needs a ring light bridge. Only on/off can be programmable. No color changing or flashing
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’m not really sure. You can always ask ring call the customer support. I have two of the ring, smart lightbulbs, one on my back deck, and one on my front porch. I set them dust to dawn, or whatever time I want them to come on and go off. They do not have cameras, and they do not have motion sensors, but I believe if you have it set up to a bridge, you can program it for different uses! I originally purchased one of the smart bulbs, to put in my bedroom lamp. I purchased the bridge. I wanted to program the bulb to go off in my bedroom at the same time my ring, floodlight camera outdoors goes off, so it would wake me up if somebody was prowling around. So there’s many uses for this bulb!
