“How would the ring alarm work in home that has been wired from a previous alarm company”

• It's a stand-alone wireless system, so it wouldn't use any of the hardware (or wiring) left over from your old system. It uses your home internet to notify YOU if there's a security breach. And, it does this without any monthly fees. We love our Ring system!
