They set up the accounts by location, basically per Base unit. If you want professional monitoring, it will cost two subscriptions, but you can self monitor through the app for free. And even the free version gives you cellular backup, so if you lose internet, it still reports to you. I run the Office one, we have the subscription there, and I self monitor at home. We only have the subscription at work for the camera recording, we find it easier to self monitor there too.

Once your first account and Ring device have been set up in your Ring App, you can add as many Ring devices as you wish to that account by simply tapping the "Set up device" control under "My Devices" in your Ring app. Bilan J, Customer Satisfaction Specialist [email protected]
