Hello AngelB, DIY installation of your Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Plus is intended to be a relatively easy process. However, as floodlight camera's require a junction box as well as wiring up live wires, it's recommended you hire a licensed electrician to install it. The Ring Floodlight Cam wired Plus should be connected to a 100 VAC~240 VAC 50/60 Hz power source. Also, while subscribed to one of our optional Ring Protect Plans, you will be able to access videos from every ring, motion, and live view event for up to 60 days (US). You can also access, download, and share past Ring videos. Without this service, you will still receive real-time video alerts on your smartphone as well as have access to the Live View feature, however events are not recorded. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The answer to all your questions is yes. Also you can use existing doorbell wires for the Ring Doorbell. Make sure you have a transformer for your system first.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, but you'll have to keep the circuit on to receive power to the camera. Anything else on that circuit will stay powered on. I had to replace a garage spotlight with a light-sensitive, motion fixture to keep from having that light burn 24-7. I use the Protect Plus Plan for my 4 cameras, but I am still in my trial period.
