I added a chime inside the house and that solved my problem

Your Ring doorbell was designed with customizable alert settings to suit your needs. If you wish to try a different alert sound, please follow these steps in the Ring app: To select your Chime Tone: Open the Ring app. Tap the menu (☰) left of the Dashboard. Tap Devices. Select the Chime or Chime Pro that you'd like to set a Chime Tone for. Tap Audio Settings. Tap Chime Tones and you’ll see a list of tones for your Ring Chime. We recommend adding a Ring Chime to your network if you need additional alerts to sound within your home. Simply plug the Ring Chime in to a power outlet, set it up in the Ring app, and you'll be able to hear alerts from your Ring devices at home. If any additional information is needed regarding your Ring devices, please reach out to our community.
