It’s supposed to help because as one battery is depleted the other picks up. I bought an extra battery to supplement when I changed a low battery, but I will have to use it as a second battery in the camera because one battery drains too quickly. My other camera has a solar panel with just one battery and it is awesome.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Using both batteries extends the time between charging. You can also adjust your camera settings to extend battery life.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it will help. Also, check the settings you have on your camera. Adjust the time the spotlight uses lights, motion zones and video quality. The more you view the camera, the more battery it will drain. Also, look into improving your WiFi for your home. The harder the camera works to keep a wireless connection, also depleted the battery life.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If your batteries are dying that quickly you may want to adjust the range setting. If your camera is set on sensitive setting it will come on frequently and die much quicker
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Do you have live view on? That will drain the batteries faster. Also check settings for battery savings. I’ve had mine up for a while w 2 batteries and only one is at 65% and other is at 100%
