Hello Mantis, After setting up 3D Motion Detection, Bird's Eye View will be automatically enabled for that device on your account, and the accounts of any Shared Users who have access to that device. With Bird's Eye View you can get an aerial map view of motion events around your home and clearly see the path that visitors take when visiting your property. This article will answer commonly asked questions concerning the Bird's Eye View feature: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360056772832-Bird-s-Eye-View-information. For any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out on our community forum at https://community.ring.com/. Thanks, Alexis with Ring
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is no additional hardware or camera you need to enable the Birdseye view. It’s a feature you setup directly thru the Ring app, utilizing the features of your smart device used to set up the doorbell (e.g. I used my iPhone 11 Pro). I’ve attached photos for you to have an example of what the different views look like.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, everything for the birdseye view is available with the camera. The birdseye view is simply a satellite image of your house with the motion path superimposed on it.
