Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Robert. Thank you for reaching out to us with your question. A 22-gauge wire is too thin and may not provide all the power that the Ring Wired Doorbell Pro needs. We recommend using 18-gauge wire with your Ring doorbell, which provides the proper amount of resistance. You may experience power issues with the device while using the 22-guage wire. While not the ideal gauge, you can also use a 16-gauge wire with the Ring Wired Doorbell Pro. It's easy to work with and won't cause much resistance, providing adequate power to the Ring doorbell. We invite you to reach out to our community if any additional information is needed regarding your question. The Ring Community is our first peer-to-peer community forum, giving our customers the ability to help one another by sharing their feedback and experiences with each other. Thank you, Melissa from Ring.
