Thanks for asking. No, the Ring Video Doorbell Pro 2 does not run off of battery power. To power your Ring Video Doorbell Pro 2, we recommend using a transformer with at least 16 volts AC and at least 30 volt-amps (40 VA max) and 50/60 Hz.
