I am not sure, because my old chime box wouldn't work with my new Ring-Video doorbell Pro 2. I think it would n't work because my chime box was about 30 years old.

Your Ring Video Doorbell Pro 2 requires a hardwired connection with a transformer: 16–24 VAC, 30–40 VA max, 50–60 Hz. If you do not have an existing chime kit, you can connect your Ring Video Doorbell Pro 2 to a Ring Chime or a compatible Alexa-enabled device.
