Hi T33Bone. Good question. Yes, the Ring Video Doorbell Pro 2 requires a 16-24 VAC, 30-40 VA max, 50/60Hz power supply. The Ring Plug-in Adapter (2nd Generation) can be used in place of an existing doorbell system to power the Ring Video Doorbell Pro 2.
