“Is splitter HDCP compliant? I have a splitter receiving signal from DirecTV DVR. It is connected to an HDCP Panasonic Viera display through a (presumably HDCP) Yamaha Adventage RX-700 receiver. Second output is direct to a Samsung HDCP compliant TV. The only way I can get HDCP content (ie, HBO) on the primary Panasonic display, is if the Samsung display is also on. When the second display is off, content on the primary display is blocked. In addition, if I turn on secondary display to get content on primary display, the content is still displayed after I turn off the secondary display. However, content is then lost if I change channel on receiver. The second display plays restricted content at all times, regardless if primary is on or off. I've tried swapping the output cables with no change. Please advise”
