“Need to hot unplug-plug back HDMI-IN to get sound (every time) I just got your Rocketfish 2-Way HDMI Splitter (RF-G1182). I connected my cable box (Directv H25-100) to the HDMI-IN port. Then connected my HDTV (Panasonic Viera TH42PX60U) to HDMI-OUT1 port; and my A/V receiver (Pioneer VSX-1121) to HDMI-OUT2 port. There is no problem when I play trough the A/V receiver but when I play trough the TV, I got no sound. The only way to get sound to the TV is by hot unplugging the HDMI-IN and plugging it back. Afterwards I have sound. But, as you imagine, I can not be unplugging and plugging back every time I turn-on the TV or want to change the destination equipment. It is that a problem with this specific unit? Do you have a solution?, Or do I just have to go back to the store and return it?”

YOu may want to check the settings on your TV to make sure you have it set for HDMI. Or what you may need is a directional splitter, comes with a switch where you change to TV or receiver, etc. that you will be using. Two way splitter I believe is meant to give you the same picture on TV's, monitors, etc.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It seems it is common in the RF-G1182 line. Try unplugging it from electricity source and plugging it back. If works, you can install an extension cord with a switch so it is easy to turn on/off.
