• not recommended for outdoors as they don't have sleeves over the connections. you can find splitters for outdoor use.

• It is not intended for outdoor use, if it is outside you will need to have it in a weather tight enclosure.

• There is no weather protection built-in to this unit, so if you are going to use it outside I would recommend wrapping it some type of weather-proof tape. Or use a different product such as the Terk Weatherproof Splitter 4-Way.

• Certainly. you can mount it wherever you like. Just be aware of the all-pole DC-pass.
