If you are really close to the broadcast towers an amplifier will degrade your reception. If you are close, try your indoor antenna without the amp. If your reception doesn't get any better you need a stronger antenna. Either indoor or outdoor.

It will not fix an already bad signal, just make it worse since it will be amplifying a bad signal.

They have a 15 day return policy. If you notice no difference Return the antenna. I picked up an antenna and 100 feet of wire. Put the antenna temporary on my roof and ran the wire in the front door To the tv, just a test. Give it a try.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hard to tell without being there, but if you're getting bad reception with an amplified HD indoor antenna, an outdoor one may be your best bet. (I'm assuming you've tried moving and turning the indoor antenna to find the best arrangement.)
