• No. This only has the typical rubberized plastic wire coating. You need a wire that is CL2 rated.

• All you have to do is click on the specifications tab on the product description page to confirm, yes, it is in - wall rated. And it definitely matters, you do not want to put cheap wire, with poor heat dissipation, in a sheetrock wall. Fire hazard bonanza!

• Yes but I would double check with best buy. We used it in ours and they recommended it knowing the purpose.
