“Can I cut end off to make it easier to pull through the wall and then put new end on, or should I try to leave ends on and make larger holes?”

• I left the end on and drilled larger holes when I faced this problem. A little caulking finished the job. I figured I would degrade performance if I cut the cable and attached a new end.
