• It's not a bluetooth transmitter. It's a connector wire, not something that transmits. Bluetooth transmitters are usually embedded in the TV, and often do not transmit as far as advertised. For me, about three feet is max. BTW, three feet if you are using with a hands-=free cell phone or keyboard connecting to a tablet is great.
