• It receives Bluetooth input from a Bluetooth enabled device(like your phone) then outputs that to your stereo through cables,either RCA or optical audio cables. So if your CD player is not Bluetooth enabled it will not work for you.

• This device is designed to allow you to ply music from your Bluetooth phone or other device, on your legacy steroids system, because the Bluetooth receiver box is jacked into your amplifier. Playing from a cd or DVD player all you need is connector cables and not a Bluetooth receiver box.
