• The RF-HTVMM170C is not compatible for 24" OC stud spacing. It is only compatible 16" OC stud spacing.

• It should work as it can handle 16" o/c x 2 = 32" your studs seem to be strangely 24" o/c; which will still work....most likely you have 12" o/c or 16" o/c in Canada & USA are bldg code standards...perhaps your studfinder is not accurate or you have a w'ongly built home. make sure you screw into studs..pre-drill smaller hole to prevent wood from cracking (won't hold tv well) good luck !
