Im sure you could get it to fit, but i wouldnt chance it seeing as the mount it rated up to 75inch, so if something goes wrong all the liability is on you. If you get a mount big enough for your 77 and something fails in the mount, you would atleast have recourse to expect the company to pay for damages.
