“I am sure I should be able to figure this out but would like the answer from a pro. Once the TV is fully extended what amount of angle can the TV be turned before it hits the wall?”

I mounted mine in a corner on a side wall and my 65” LG extends out evenly. It will easily go 40-65 angle off the wall.

Depends on the size of the TV. The larger the TV, the less viewing angle achievable. My 75" on this mount will get close to 20-30 degrees safely. A 40" could get closer to 60-75 degrees maybe. As there are 2 arms holding the TV to a single mounting point, there is a wide range of angles to adjust it to before the sides of the TV touch the wall. Again, the angle really depends on the tv it's mated with.
