• Should be fine. I used this mount for my 60" Samsung (PN60F5300AFXZA), which is almost as heavy, and there is no issue.

• I would say yes. If the meets the weight reguirements, it should be fine. You just have to make sure the holes line up in the unit. I used a smaller inch requirement on a TV that met the weight requirements and it is fine.
