This wouldn’t be the mount for you. It fits super close to the wall.

There’s just enough space to fit your hand between the tv and the wall. It was quite difficult to plug in the power cord once we realized it should have been done prior to hanging. I’d say there’s 2” max.

Your worried about space try a recessed outlet behind the tv. It will give you more room for your straight plugs.
