“I have this mount now with a 39-inch TV (see photo). How hard will it be to change to a 55-inch? Can I place the new TV higher on the wall, so it's the right distance over the cabinet? How about horizontally, so the TV will be centered over the cabinet?”

I forgot to attach photos. One is the old 39-inch; the other is the new 55-inch on the same Rocketfish mount.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thank you, Ashley. It worked out fine as you can see from the photo. The locking wheel for the tilt made it a little tricky to get the screws in the vertical slots I needed. But I was able to squeeze them in.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Shouldn't be hard at all. You should just have to loosen and remove from track, then undo and attach to new 55 inch. Yes from you picture you should be able to raise the TV mount. As for centering it looks good there so if you just raise it should stay centered.
