The vertical distance between bolts is the critical one -- it seems to be between 3-5/8 and 3-3/4 inches apart ... can't get more accurate than that without dismounting it. Horizontally it is more flexible, 15-22 inches or so. FYI, it comes with lag bolts to mount in concrete or block, but it does NOT include the concrete anchors for the bolts.
