“How hard is it to steal a TV? Just had a TV installed with this mount. Is there an anti-theft mechanism, or do I need a separate cable for that? Just not sure if it's easy to detach, or if this mount has anti-theft built-in?”

• Get a home security system with a camera that will allow you to view activity from your smartphone within your home. If in fact it is stolen your insurance will cover the expenses lost.

• There are screws you can tighten to make it hard to steal but not impossible.

• There is no anti-thef mechanism. If your TV has a place to mount an anti-theft cable you would be better off. It is way easy to remove the TV from the wall with this thing. Perhaps it is a good time to consider security cameras or a better place to live.
