• You're completely locked into using their proprietary xg mobile hardware. Haven't seen anywhere that someone has home-brewed a way to use other external GPU setups.

• Sadly as of right now its only x4. If your looking to get the xgmobile get the amd or the 3080. 4090 is overkill.

• It is a proprietary connector but uses PCIe 3.0 x8. Can't use it for non-Asus products and its not upgradeable. The USB-C port that is part of the XG Mobile port is USB 3.2 Gen2.
