  • QuestionDuring the operation of the microwave, I noticed that the exhaust fan is not turning on to push the air from inside of the microwave out through the top vent. The vent only pushes out the air from under the microwave unit? Is this a normal operation?

    • Answer I think so. Blower only kicks on in Convection mode not in Microwave mode.

    • Answer Its a cover for the wave guide that covers the magnetron. Its usually made of mica.

  • QuestionI bought an open box unit. However, the brackets and hardware is misssing. Where can i go to get the replacements? I trird samsungparts.com but there is nothing listed there except the manual. Help, please!

    • Answer A lot of contractors and folks will just go back to the store or other store that sell this product and ask them to open another box or see if they have the pieces left over from a display model. If you bought it and it was missing pieces, just be upfront and tell them they can either open another box and give you those parts or you will bring in the unit and exchange it for a completely new box that has all the parts. Either way they will send the box with missing parts back to the supplier and the shop is not out any money. Try that. Suggest you also take the box back to another store that sells the same and just say the part were missing and get that exchange there.
