• Yes. Recently installed Samsung tv and sound bar on Comcast. Install on remote was easy. Turn sound off on tv and remote will control sound bar volume

• It should no problem, I have TDS and I use my remote to turn the volume up or down, now you will have to use the Samsung remote to adjust the different types of sound though you want to hear. Just read the book, it took me about two hours to really figure it out.
