Q: QuestionRF220NCTASR Does the ice maker turn off automatically when the bin is full or do I need to turn it off at the control panel . I notice the ice maker does not have a bin full arm like my old refrigerator had.
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Hello, Thank you for reaching out and letting us know your inquiry if the ice maker turns off automatically when the bin is full or if you need to turn it off at the control panel. We understand that this information may be essential for you to know. We're here to help. As per checking, Samsung's ice makers are designed to stop when they're full. There are two methods for this: either an optical sensor or a mechanical arm, which detects when ice has piled high enough. Q: QuestionMy RF220 doesn't have an Alarm On/Off button (to allow me to turn off the nagging beeps if doors are open for more than 3 minutes), though models RL220 and RL225 do have this. Does this mean I can never turn off the Nagging Alarm beeps?
Asked by Beeping.
This question was asked about the related product: Samsung - 30" Wide, 22 cu. ft. French Door Fingerprint Resistant Refrigerator - Black Stainless Steel
- A:Answer Place magnets on top of the refrigerator where you see the word SWITCH to temporarily disable the alarm. The lights will turn off, but it’s better than the annoying alarm when you want to clean or rearrange.
