Not sure. But it is never empty. Just push the ice forward and it makes plenty.

I bought the 29 CF 4-DOOR FLEX CD W/FAMILY HUB a few weeks ago. Definitely a question for the Samsung engineers but I'll tell you what I've observed. There are 2 buckets that the ice falls into. To figure out the daily yield I'd have to empty a tray and wait a day, and as much as I like helping other consumers out, I won't do that. I can tell you that one of the 2 full trays weight 4 lbs 7.4 ounces (including the weight of the plastic tray) and it was full in a few days (I know "few" is no help) and has provided more than enough ice for a family of 4. Ice yield seems like a stat that Samsung would be proud of and know; maybe call Samsung Customer Service
