Q: QuestionCan this or the 221 be placed on its side to transport?

• A:Answer The RF220 and RF221 can be placed on their sides for a short period of time to transport, if necessary, though keeping them upright is preferred. Q: QuestionJust bought a Samsung RF221. The unit makes a pronounced gurgleling sound.I bought the fridge/freezer unit in April 2013. Transported it lying down for 2 hours, whwreafter it was stood up and left in the packing for 4 weeks. The unit was unpacked and plugged in to the wall plug. The compressor started with the normal compressor noise, but within 5 to 10 seconds a pronounced gurgling noise was added to the compressor noise. This condition has now persisted for 4 weeks and the fridge/freezer cycles approx. 30 minutes on and 30 minutes off, when left unopened. What is wrong - has the compressor unit not got enough refrigerant? How can I get rid of the gurgling noise?

Q: QuestionThe doors dont open up all the way, there seems to be a stopper. Am I missing something? Is there a release button? I can't even pull out the bottom drawer fully to clean under it, because the doors won't allow it. Please advise.

• A:Answer It seems it has a mechanical defect somewhere. Mine one of the doors is stopped by a side wall, but that doesn’t stop other door or fridge drawer. U may need to contact your warranty company.

Q: QuestionMy doorways are roughly 30". Will delivery crew remove fridge doors so that fridge can come thru? Or they are not removable?

• A:Answer Hi, I'm not sure if they will remove the doors. I think the doors contain electrical connections and the manual shows how they can be removed. So, it is possible to remove them but they will need tools. Also, with this COVID-19 ridiculousness, they probably won't. If you're a bit handy, you shouldn't have too much trouble removing the doors. Just take your time and document (cell phone pictures) how things are taken apart so you know how to put it back together.
