• NO, but they sell an attachment at Best Buy that hooks up to the optical audio out that will let you use Bluetooth with the TV and it works just fine. I use with my Bluetooth headphones no problem.

• yes. in fact i bluetooth it with the subwoofer of a new bose surround sound system (with a mounted soundbar); it's brill, mate.
