There seems to be some confusion. This TV has an optical out connection and bluetooth capability, so that's at least 2 ways to attach speakers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I attached a small Insignia sound bar with an optical cable and that improved the sound significantly. The TV also has bluetooth so you attach a Bluetooth speaker.
