You are probably looking at the TV at a bad angle. Try looking at it straight and from at least 3 feet away. If you have "played" with the picture settings, select "menu", then "picture", then "standard", then "reset picture" at the bottom of the picture selections. That will return the TV to its standard settings. I have not adjusted any of the settings as the TV's settings are fine for me. After the picture returns to normal, you can adjust the settings to your own taste, but I would recommend leaving the settings alone unless you are an advanced user. This TV is an entry level item that should not require adjustment for enjoyment by an average user.
