I have my Samsung 32 inch 1080p high definition hooked up to a channel master 80 mile extreme 4-bay outdoor HD antenna with a power boost. I receive 182 channels of OTA Broadcasting. That location was in Studio City California with my antenna pointed towards Mount Wilson. The Samsung 1080 Smart TV will tune OTA Broadcasting. As well as cable. I suggest purchasing the mohu 50 mile leaf indoor antenna if you are in a metropolitan area. If you hook up the antenna you will go into the broadcasting menu and you will select antenna air not cable. It will auto search all the channels and save the ones that it can tune into and it will save them. It takes a while so let it finish its course. Then you can go back and delete the ones you do not want or Mark the ones that you want to Mark as favorites Etc. Good luck and enjoy.
