The 'Bose Solo 5' has the Optical Audio output, so yes...it can be used with this TV. This model of TV does not have Bluetooth, so if you have it on the soundbar..your out of luck. I like Bose, but I didn't go that route because I wanted one remote to control everything and this TV has HDMI (ARC) audio output and I made sure that this was a feature on the soundbar I purchased. I like having cable remote (or TV remote) control everything. Bottom line, you have a good sounding soundbar and you won't have trouble using it with any TV.
